Leadership & people moves

Know who joins, who leaves, and why

New CEOs, departing executives, new directors and the new teams a competitor starts hiring for — from official registers, the companies' own announcements and their public job boards, with what each move means for you.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself.

  1. 01

    We read the official record

Director appointments and resignations from Companies House, and executive changes reported in SEC 8-Ks.

  2. 02

    We read their announcements

Press releases and news that name a person appointed to, or leaving, a leadership role.

  3. 03

We join it into one story

A filing and the press release about the same appointment are one alert, not two.

Product tour

Every source, the same six steps.

The tour has no leadership example yet, and every change is reported in the same six steps, whatever its source. Step through a competitor's launch, found in three of its posts: the facts, the sources, why it matters and what to do.

In detail

What you get.

  • Official registers

Companies House officers for UK companies and 8-K executive changes for US-listed ones, read daily.

  • Their own announcements

Appointments and departures from newsrooms, press-release wires and press coverage.

  • New teams they're hiring

A first partnerships team or first roles in a new country, from the public job board.

  • Minimal personal data

Only a director's published name, role and appointment dates are kept. Never birth dates or addresses.

Channels

Where you'll see it.

Everyone gets email: high priority right away, the rest in a daily or weekly digest. On Pro, Team and Enterprise, changes above the priority you choose are also posted to your team's Slack or Microsoft Teams channels.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Do you track LinkedIn?

No. Orlea reads official registers and the companies' own announcements, not LinkedIn profiles or anyone's personal accounts.

Which companies have register data?

Companies registered in the UK and companies listed in the US. For the rest, leadership moves come from their announcements and the press.

Will I get an alert for every director change?

No. Moves that matter become alerts, a CEO change as high priority; routine register entries are listed on the profile but stay quiet.
